Each entity contributing to this website (the “Contributing Entities”) holds copyright in the information it has made available on this website, unless otherwise stated. Copyright in any third-party materials found on this website must also be respected. You may request permission to reproduce the materials available on this website as follows:
PERMISSIONS
1. Publications and Data:

2. Photographs:
Appropriate credit must be given to the Contributing Entity to whom the photograph belongs and the photographer for the use of the Contributing Organization’s photographs. The photographs should be used in a manner which respects human dignity without causing prejudice to any party. Internet users, including journalists and NGOs, who wish to obtain publication-quality photographs should complete the form "Request for permission to reproduce ILO Photographs", identifying their publication and describing the context in which the photo would be used.
3. Participating Organizations Logo (emblem)/ Name:
The Name and Logo (emblem) of Contributing Entities are legally protected and may not be used without express written permission which will only be granted when appropriate in very limited circumstances. Requests will only be accepted if they are in writing and contain the following information:
- the reasons in full for the request;
- details of the intended use; and
- full contact details of the person or organization making the request.
Requests to reproduce third-party logos/emblems, including those of UNICEF, must be sent directly to the concerned entity. Requests for permission to reproduce the ILO logo/emblem may be sent to prodoc@ilo.org
Requests for permission may be sent to prodoc@ilo.org. The ILO will forward the request to the Organization concerned.
4. Public Information:
Press Releases and Press Kit material from the Public Information site may be reproduced freely. Texts of World of Work Magazine may be used with specific mention of source.
5. Audio and Video Productions:
Audio and video productions are subject to the Creative Commons “Attribution-NonCommercial” 3.0 IGO license. Subject to said terms, users are free to share and remix audio and video files on the website with the condition that they are attributed to the Contributing Organization to whom they belong and are not used for commercial purposes. With reference to section 4(e) of the license, audio and video files must in particular not be used for a purpose contrary to the objectives of the Contributing Entities or in a manner which does not respect human dignity.

Although reciprocating links to other relevant websites are encouraged in the effort to increase visibility to both sites, hyperlinks to other websites imply neither responsibility for, nor approval of, the information contained in those other websites.
